How does the service work?
The first step is to send your manuscript to The Writers Desk. To work out the cost we look at the word count and charge you £4 per 1000 words to the closest 100 words. There is no maximum or minimum word count for this service.
Once you have paid you in-depth editorial will be sent back to you as quickly as possible in the form of a report.
This report will be made up of general feedback and in-depth editing.
General feedback includes any editorial factors that we feel need attention, and any areas which we feel you have done particularly well.
In-depth editing includes a mark up of your work on the original document. Any comments or pointers that may improve your work are noted in this report, and any spelling or grammatical errors are also corrected. This report is designed to help you see the areas in your manuscript that need attention, and help you to work through your work and produce a better document.
